How to Get from Incheon Airport(ICN) to Myeongdong Quickly and Easily (Airport Bus No. 6001)

Hi 🙂

I’m going to share some tips to help you enjoy your trip to Korea even more.
Read this post as if I were your close friend living in Korea.
Besides this post, I’ll write many other articles about Korea to make your trip even more enjoyable and informative.

When traveling in Korea, the most popular destination is Myeong-dong in Seoul. I’ll show you how to get to Myeong-dong from Incheon Airport, Korea’s international airport. And when you go to Myeong-dong, you’ll usually head to the area around Myeong-dong Station. It’s a place with many hotels, restaurants, and shops nearby. So, I’ll show you how to get to Myeong-dong Station, specifically Myeong-dong.

  • Departure Point: Incheon Airport Terminal 1, 1st Floor Arrival Hall
  • Arrival Point: Myeong-dong Station

I recommend a fast, convenient, and reasonably priced option. It’s also my preferred option. Take the airport bus. The travel time isn’t much different from driving. While the subway is a bit cheaper and faster, I don’t recommend transferring while carrying luggage like a suitcase.
I recommend saving some energy for the journey from the airport to Seoul and using it for sightseeing.

For reference, here’s what you need to know about using Airport Bus No. 6001.
First, the most important thing to know: the fare is 17,000 won for adults and 12,000 won for children (same fare for all routes).
And one infant can ride for free, as long as they don’t occupy a seat. Please note that up to two pieces of luggage per person, measuring 28 inches or less and weighing less than 20 kg, are free. Any excess baggage will incur a fee of 8,000 won per piece.
If departing from the airport, you must purchase a ticket at a self-service ticket machine or ticket booth. (Conversely, if departing from the city center, you can pay with a transportation card or cash.)

Finally, there is no online reservation system; you can pay on-site and use the free seating (first-come, first-served).

Have a nice trip! I’ll post more soon. See you soon!
